Two Arrested In Dissident Republican Probe
Two men have been arrested as part of investigations into the activities of dissident republicans in Dublin and Limerick.
The men , one who is in his 30’s and the other in his 60’s, were arrested at James Street, Dublin yesterday afternoon.
Two handguns were also recovered at the scene.
In a follow-up search yesterday afternoon in the Limerick area a quantity of ammunition was also recovered.
The two men are being held at Clondalkin Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 at Clondalkin Garda Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
