Gardai Release Footage As They Seek To Trace Margaret Mangan

Gardai have released CCTV footage which places missing Dublin woman Margaret Mangan less than 7km from her Terenure home on the day she went missing.

The footage shows the woman , who suffers from Alzheimer’s, walking with her dog in the Glasnevin area on Tuesday evening.

The 65 year old left her home at Mount Tallant avenue, with her King Charles Cavalier at 11am on Tuesday morning and hasn’t returned home since.

There have been a number of sightings of her since. Mrs Brown’s Boys star Brendan O’Carroll made a public appeal yesterday after it emerged the missing woman had been spotted at the location of a scene he was shooting in Glasnevin for his upcoming film.

It is believed that Peggy might have stopped to talk to one of the crew members on set and Gardai are currently talking to all members of cast and crew to see if they can trace her wherabouts.

The missing woman is 5’ 2” in height and of slight build. When last seen she was wearing a white jacket and black trousers.

The public are urged to remain cautious and approach Peggy to comfort her should they see her. Search teams are currently covering the Glasnevin, Finglas and Phibsboro areas in the hope of finding her.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Terenure Garda Station 01-6666400 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
