Rabo Preview: Munster Face Top Of Table Clash With Ospreys

Leinster v Newport Gwent Dragons

Leinster have been impressive so far this season, proving to be a very strong team and it will take something special to beat them. Newport Gwent Dragons might not possess the same strengths as some other Welsh clubs but should still be capable of putting in a good performance on their home patch. Leinster will be weakened by Irish players preparing for the Autumn internationals so this game is most certainly in the melting pot and the Dragons have a solid chance of coming out on top.

Verdict: Dragons

Connacht v Glasgow Warriors

Connacht almost put Leinster to the sword in the last game in the Rabo Direct while Glasgow Warriors failed to break through a Munster defence that stood firm amid Scottish pressure. Glasgow have the potential to upset Connacht in their home ground, but with the autumn internationals approaching fast, this is a great opportunity for Connacht to get a result.

Verdict: Connacht

Llanelli Scarlets v Ulster

This will be one of the most interesting games of the weekend with Ulster still being a formidable opponent to play against while the Scarlets have a lot of strong Welsh players to depend upon for this game. Players like Andrew Trimble and Luke Marshall will be pivotal for the Ravenhill side to ensure victory.

Verdict: Ulster

Munster V Ospreys

Munster look the form team out of all the provinces. This is a top of the table clash and it’s hard to see Munster being beaten in Thomond Park. However, Ospreys pose a serious threat to Munster, with Dan Biggar aiming to control the territory for the Ospreys to give his side the platform they need to win this game. It can be intimidating for any team to play in Thomond Park so expect Ospreys to crumble and Munster remain top of the Rabo Direct Pro 12.

Verdict: Munster
