Louth Teen Held At Gunpoint While Selling Car

Gardaí at Louth are investigating an incident in which an 18 year old man was held at gunpoint near Drogheda.

The victim had arranged to meet an individual at Newtownstalaban at approximately 11.30pm last night with a view to selling his car. However when the man went to the location he was met by two masked men, one of which was armed with a firearm.

The masked men left the house in the owner’s car which was found burnt out a short time later.

Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact Drogheda Garda Station on 041-9874200, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
