Crowdsight Partners With Dublin Marathon To Capture Fan Experience



SSE Airtricity are employing a unique approach at this year’s Dublin Marathon to facilitate fans engaging, enjoying, and sharing the overall marathon experience. They’ve tasked an innovative Irish start-up; Crowdsight, to capture the proudest fan moments throughout the entire Marathon experience.

Tapping into the massive effort of the competitors and recognising the huge amount of training and sacrifice that’s involved in completing a Marathon, SSE Airtricity and Dublin Marathon organisers were keen to identify a way to really capture the variety of the experience across the record-breaking number of 14,500 runners. Convicted Sex Offender Arrested In Mary Boyle Case


A convicted sex offender has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a six-year-old girl who went missing in 1977.

Mary Boyle went missing from her grandparents’ home in near Ballyshannon, County Donegal on March 18 that year.

She had been playing outside at the time of her disappearance and hasn’t been seen since. Continue reading

Three Arrested Following Dublin Drugs Bust

Gardai have arrested three people following a €270,000 drugs seizure in Dublin.

The arrests were made last night at an address in St Mark’s Avenue, Clondalkin at approximately 9pm.

Cocaine with an estimated street value of up to €270,000 was discovered during the search. A 26 year old male, a 53 year old male and a 25 year old female were arrested at the scene.  Continue reading

A murder investigation is under way following the death of a two year old boy in Dublin.

Gardai Investigate Dublin Hit And Run Which Killed 87 Year Old Man


Gardaí at the Bridewell are investigating a hit and run which caused the death of an 87 year old man in Dublin.

The incident occurred at Hanlons Corner, North Circular Rd, Dublin 7 at approximately 4.13pm on Tuesday 30th September.

The deceased was knocked out of his electric wheelchair by a white truck, believed to be a Mercedes, at Hanlon’s Corner, North Circular Road. He was taken to the Mater Hospital but died on Friday 3rd October.  Continue reading

24 Year Old Man Charged Over Dublin Airport Hijacking


Gardaí have charged a 24 year old man in connection with the hijacking of a car at Dublin Airport yesterday.

The man is due to appear in court this morning at 10.30am.

The incident occurred at approximately 3.40pm yesterday at Dublin Airport when man in his 60’s was assaulted by the 24 year old, who then got into the injured man’s car and left the scene. Continue reading

With $2 billion on hand the Islamic State is an extremely well-funded terrorist group that poses a major international crisis for the U.S. and the world.

They have come to prominence in recent months by carrying out large scale murders on Iraqi and Syrian soil while also using propaganda videos to show the beheadings of numerous western hostages and threatenin others in th process.

Last week Britain agreed to join a U.S led coalition backed heavily by countries from the Middle East as they attempt to destory ISIS once and for all. There is a long road ahead and with no British troops on the ground who knows if this mission will be successful.
