Ireland overcame the Scottish in last years test, even though the Scottish were questioning the reasons behind awarding five points for a goal, when three would sound much better for both sides.  Ireland won the series last year quite comfortably  (aggregate 11–21 (76) to 6–12 (42) ) even though the scoreline didn’t really reflect how well Scotland played. Ireland should win their home game in Croke Park on Saturday evening. The Scottish will be hoping to get some goals and put in a good performance, to keep the margin tight rather than have one side completely dominating the series.
