Man Arrested In Elaine O’Hara Murder Investigation

A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Elaine O’Hara, whose body was found in the Dublin mountains last month.

The 36-year-old childcare worker had been missing from her Stepaside home for over a year when her body was discovered.

The discovery of personal items at Kilakee mountain, Rathfarnham and at a reservoir in Roundwood in County Wicklow led Gardaí to believe she had been murdered. Continue reading

Associate of Slain Gang Boss Arrested In Connection With Murder of Dublin Man

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of James Kenny McDonagh, whose remains were found in a shallow grave in the Dublin Mountains earlier this month.

The man, who is aged in his 20s, was arrested in yesterday and is believed to be an associate of slain mob boss Michael “The Panda” Kelly.

He is being detained at Kilmainham Garda Station.

Mr Kenny McDonagh (28), from Islandbridge Court in Dublin had been missing for the past 14 months when his body was found by hillwalkers.

Detectives believe he was abducted and killed by Kelly`s gang and buried in a shallow grave at Sliabh na Mban Óg, 14km outside Tallaght.

Mr Kenny McDonagh, a father of one, was last seen in Bluebell at around 3pm on 27 October 2010 driving a wine-coloured Mazda 626.
