LOI: Dundalk Aim To Consolidate Title Challenge

League leaders Dundalk travel to Dublin to face relegation threatened Bohemians at Dalymount Park.

Bohemians will have been pleased with the 0-0 draw last week against Shamrock Rovers. Despite that result Bohs are in tenth place and out of the relegation zone albeit only on goal difference. They face a tough task here, but Owen Heary and his side will be hoping that they have enough to pull off an upset.

Goals from Daryl Horgan, Kurtis Byrne and Patrick Hoban gave Dundalk a 3-0 victory over Sligo Rovers last week. That win sees the Louth side go top of the league with a two point margin. Taylor Sets Sights On Dundalk Following Hoops Win

Speaking after watching his side beat Trevor Croly’s Shamrock Rovers on Tuesday evening, Limerick boss Stuart Taylor told the press how proud he is of his side ,  declaring himself to be “over the moon” with the performance.

LOI : Five Games Remain To Determine Destiny Of Dublin Trio

Five games stand between destiny and fate as a trio of Dublin sides head into the final furlong in need of results for different reasons.

St Patrick’s Athletic now have their title destiny in their own hands having over come title rivals Dundalk last week. The Saints travel to Bray this evening looking to move six points ahead of the lilywhites before they face Limerick tomorrow.

Across the Liffey and the picture is far more gloomy with northside rivals Bohemians and Shelbourne battling to stave off the dreaded drop , something Bohs have and advantage in having thrashed their neighbours last time out. Continue reading
