The appearance of Terry Butcher in the West Stand along with former Hibs’ keeper Jim McArthur was the main talking point for the Hibs’ fans in what was a dismal performance against Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Easter Road today.

Hibs longest serving player Lewis Stevenson is once again mourning the loss of one manager whilst waiting to find out who the replacement will be and whether he will be in their plans. In previous years, Hibs have remained tight lipped about the new appointments, but on this occasion, Rod Petrie has made it known that Terry Butcher is his first choice and the long suffering Hibs’ fans are on the edge of their seats waiting to see whether the former England captain will agree to move south to the capital.

A poll on the Hibs-Net Fan’s Forum has Inverness boss Terry Butcher as the preferred choice, and media reports this morning suggest that the former England captain heads Rod Petrie’s list, and that an offer could be imminent.

Pat Fenlon has resigned from his post as manager of Hibs.

Liam O’Brien left Hibs for family reasons, the club announced yesterday, quashing rumours and speculation amongst supporters following his departure in the summer.

Following  the recent  meeting between Chairman Rod Petrie and a number of invited representatives from various supporters groups, an issue was raised regarding the changes in back-room staff at the club, and in  response, a statement was published on the official website highlighting the changes that have taken place. Fenlon In Double Swoop For Heffernan And Zoubir

HibsPat Fenlon has completed a double signing ahead of the transfer window closing on Saturday night.

Earlier today, the club confirmed that Dublin born striker Paul Heffernan has joined from Kilmarnock after agreeing a contract until the end of the 2014/15 season, and 21 year old French winger Abdellah Zoubir has joined the club on loan from FC Istres for the 2013/14 season following a successful trial this week.
