TNA’s Storm Looking Forward To Visiting Father’s Homeland

stormpic1

TNA Wrestling superstar James Storm is has no doubt he will arrive in Ireland this January with a belt firmly wrapped around his waist.

However, the belt may not be what fans of the redneck revolution are expecting. “I don’t know about a title but I’ll have some kind of belt, whether it be a belt to hold up my pants or a world title belt.”

The Tennessee native bowed out of the TNA World Title tournament this week when his partner Gunner threw the towel in after The Cowboy endured a brutal beating at the hands of former Beer Money companion Bobby Roode in a Florida Death Match. However Storm insists his quarter final defeat won’t hinder his title prospects and he is ready to reclaim gold, whether it be in singles or tag action.

Storm is confident of title success in the near future and would love to have some gold around his waist when TNA visits his father’s homeland. TNA brings their Maximum Impact tour to Dublin’s national stadium on Wednesday January 29th 2014, a venue Storm is more than familiar with, having emerged victorious from a triple threat with Roode and Austin Aries when TNA last visited these shores. Are The Pacers The Real Deal?

indiana

The Pacers have got off to a 7-0 start which is an all time best for the franchise. Defending champions Miami Heat on the other hand have already lost three out of their opening seven games and will not have had the start that was envisioned by their supporters or indeed players prior to the season starting. The question now must be asked: Are the Pacers going to go all the way and keep this incredible form going which will allow them to become NBA Champions or will they drop off over the next few matches like has happened to many teams in the past? NBA Eastern Conference Preview Part 2

rose

Having already assessed the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division , Gareth O’Reilly returns to cast his eye over the remainder of the Eastern Championship.

It would be hard to look beyond the Miami Heat for the winners of the Eastern Championship although I can see the Cavs causing a fair few upsets throughout the season as they look to make a return to the play offs.

The Chicago Bulls have their star man back and look like they will return to the force they were before Derrick Rose went down with a torn ACL. When Rose went down over a year ago so did the Bulls play off hopes for two seasons. The fans may have been extremely frustrated with the delay in getting Rose back for the business end of last season but the extra rehab time should mean that the former League MVP should now be back to his very best. O’Connor Enjoying Life In Orlando

Many footballers see America as a lucrative move to see out their career but not Dublin born Orlando City star James ‘Connor.

James has enjoyed an impressive career to date since leaving Ireland at the tender age of 16 playing for clubs such as Stoke City, West Brom, Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday before opting to head stateside.

32 year old James recalls his debut with fondness “As a 16 yr old to leave home  it was tough, but it made me grow up fast. I was really excited to get going and looking forward to it. I made my first appearance as a sub and I was really pleased to get onto the pitch.” Continue reading
