The Ballance Sheet #7 : A Year In Review (2013)


Wrapping up the year soon, folks, so I think a few words are in order about what’s gone down in 2013…


Had two favourites this year: with ‘Fabulous’ Nicky at CCW Revolution, back in May, and with Stevie Xavier, at WrestleZone’s Aberdeen Anarchy show in June. Two great guys, two incredibly enjoyable matches, and two amazing crowds. Definitely hope I get the chance to work with both guys again, down the line.

My other more enjoyable matches this year were with Jordan Devlin, Bam Katraz, and BT Gunn, amongst others. It’s been a good year, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with some superb talent, and in front of some great audiences. Continue reading

Ballance Primed To Banish Rival From CCW


Celtic Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Champion and Irish News Review columnist Bingo Ballance returns to the ring on November 29th when he defends his title against Ross Browne in a match that will also see the loser leave CCW.

We sat down with Bingo Ballance, author of the Ballance Sheet, ahead of the CCW Riot pay per view to get his thoughts as he gets set to defend the title he won during an eight man tournament at CCW Revolution back in May.    Continue reading

Republic Of Telly Star To Battle For Wrestling Contract

ccwRepublic Of Telly star Handy Sandie will battle to earn a wrestling contract when Celtic Championship Wrestling returns to Cork on November 29th.

The actress , real name Hilary Rose , will make her highly anticipated debut when CCW stage Munster’s first-ever over 18’s wrestling event “CCW: Riot” live from the Savoy in Cork City.

The event will feature top wrestlers in Ireland and a show where anything is likely to happen. The main event of the evening has been confirmed by CCW Management and will see CCW Heavyweight Champion and Irish News Review columnist Bingo Ballance defend his title against Ross Browne (a former NWA Ireland Tag Team Champion and also known for his role on RTE’s The Fear) and following the actions at “CCW: Summerbrawl” in August, the loser of this match will leave Celtic Championship Wrestling for good.
