Two goals from Hibs’ new signing Dominique Malonga secured a hard fought League Cup victory against Ross County in Dingwall last night

Both sides went into the game on a poor run of form with County stranded at the foot of the Premiership and Hibs sitting seventh in the Championship.

Hibs Drop Into Playoff Position After Kilmarnock Defeat

Hibs’ season continues for another two weeks after falling into the playoff position following yesterday’s 1-0 home defeat to Kilmarnock in front of a large crowd at Easter Road.

Terry Butcher made four changes from the side that lost narrowly to Ross County on Tuesday with Michael Nelson, James Collins, Duncan Watmore and Paul Heffernan replacing Alex Harris, Lewis Stevenson, Danny Handling and Jason Cummings in the starting XI. Continue reading

Hibs ended a run of four defeats with a 2-1 win over Ross County at Easter Road yesterday.

Manager Terry Butcher made three changes to the side that lost 2-3 to Raith Rovers last weekend with Duncan Watmore injured, Liam Craig suspended whilst James Collins has to be content with a place on the bench.
