Patriots Triumph Over Seahawks In EA Simulated Super Bowl

EA Sports today released the official Madden NFL 15 Super Bowl Prediction pitting the New England Patriots vs. the Seattle Seahawks. The prediction calls for a tightly-contested game between the two teams, coming down to a heroic play in the final drive to seal the win. The prediction sees New England’s offense overcoming the Seahawks’ defense to pull out a 28-24 victory.

The Patriots kicked off the scoring early, marching down the field on their first possession and capping it off with a 21-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski. Seattle would answer with a field goal later in the quarter, keeping the game close heading into the 2nd. Continue reading

FIFA 15 Demo Available To Download

EA Sports today announced that the playable demo of FIFA 15 is available to download for PC on Origin™, Xbox One® and Xbox 360® games and entertainment systems from Microsoft for Xbox Live® Gold members, and for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system. The FIFA 15 demo on Xbox 360 will be available to Xbox Live Silver members beginning September 16. Fans can download the demo by visitinghttp://www.easports.com/uk/fifa/demo.

Sony’s Project Morpheus: Virtual Reality

Next-gen consoles still haven’t arrived as far as many gamers are concerned. There’s been no title, no watershed moment to justify all that excitement, and money, that marked the releases of the Xbox One and the Playstation 4. No doubt that will change quickly with a host of new games marked for this summer but the question still remains; what will make this generation of consoles so much better than their predecessors? Well that might be Virtual Reality.

It has been promised before but judging from reports from this year’s Game Developer Conference it looks like the timing, and the technology, may be right to get Virtual Reality headsets out of development and into peoples homes.

The most promising of these new products is the Sony backed Project Morpheus. It couples existing but reworked Playstation technology like the Move controller with a Daft Punk-esque headset which would be the hub of the VR. Continue reading

WWE Network To Launch In Ireland Later This Year
